I have learned that the coordinated clothing/shoes fight is so not worth it…even if it means wearing red AL fur-lined crocs with EVERYTHING…Thanks, Grandmama! Don’t get me wrong, I’m a total AL fan, but even I have my limits…especially when such adorable other options are available to choose from!!!

I let my 5yo pick out his own clothes for school. You should see some of the outfits he puts together. I don’t care. I’m happy he’s getting himself dressed! I recently read some “tip” in a parenting magazine on how to give your kindergartner “choice” when picking out clothes yet still make sure the clothes match, and I thought, Who gives a *%& if they match? He’s FIVE. If someone is going to judge me based on whether my 5yo’s clothes match, I am not interested in hanging out with that person anyway. Judge away!!
